Must give 24-hour notice prior to visiting. RWRF does not have staff available on weekends and some holidays, please make appointments are booked on Monday-Friday for weekend entry.
Provide full name and valid cellphone number.
Provide a valid e-mail address.
Provide the names/number of people that will be visiting the facility with you.
Provide the date and time of visitation.
NO CARAVANS! The number of people allowed in facility is limited to legal capacity of vehicle.
Multiple vehicles, each car makes an appointment by a current member of the Audubon Society.
NO WALKING TOURS ARE ALLOWED. Visitors must remain in their vehicles, may get out briefly to take pictures/stretch, but do not venture from your vehicle.
Visitors must NOT deviate from their path or vehicle.
On the day of this visit, the scheduler will provide the guard with a valid California Photo ID, where they will receive a visitor’s pass and liability waiver.
All visitors must sign the RWRF liability waivers at the guard booth.
Vehicles should temporarily park just west of the facility’s main entrance, past the monument sign. and walk to the guard booth. DO NOT block the entrance of the facility.
Afterwards, visitors will proceed to the Winery gate for entrance to the facility, the Winery gate is located 4/10th of a mile from the main gate, look for the Speed Limit 15 MPG signage at the entrance. This is the only gate that bird watchers are allowed to use to enter the facility.
After exiting the facility, the lead participant will return to the bird watching badge to the guard that the main gate.
